Victoria Park . East London At the boating lake you can hire small rowing boats for an hour, or you can take trip in the larger tour boat. A cafe’ is next to the boating lake, and just a short walk is a children’s adventure play ground. Kids love it. The Park also plays host to visiting Fun Fare’s, and Circus’s. The Park backs onto the Regents Canal, where you can jog or stroll along the foot path, watching the ducks and swans. House barges are often seen cruising up and down the canal. Overall, Victoria Park is a good day out, peace and quiet to the laughter of happy children playing in the adventure playground. In the summer months Music festival weekends are staged with DJ’s to bands, and well known artists and local talent’s performing. Always sell-out events, reserved tickets are advertised in advance.
